Tom Clancy’s ‘The Division’ coming out in 2014!

Tom Clancy’s – The Division is set to release in 2014 according to UBISOFT corporation. The game will be released for XBOX ONE, PlayStation 4 & PC exclusively. The game is planned to release in Winter 2014 according to UBISOFT. Tom Clancy’s The Division, is an open world third-person shooter MMORPG set in the destroyed ruins of a plague-ridden New York City. Ubisoft Massive, developers of parts of Far Cry 3 and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, will be the studio in charge of development of the game. Ubisoft’s upcoming shooter The Division is set to include a range of survival elements, including the need to search for clean water. Given the state of the world in the game, food and water will have much greater value. Players will be expected to go foraging for both, but they’ll serve as currency rather than be required for survival.A devastating pandemic sweeps through New York City, and one by one, basic services fail. In only days, without food or water, society collapses into chaos. The Division, a classified unit of self-supported tactical agents, is activated. Leading seemingly ordinary lives among us, Division agents are trained to operate independently in order to save society. When society falls, your mission begins. The game engine for Tom Clancy Division, the upcoming Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC game set in the Splinter Cell universe, promises to deliver an unprecedented level of realism. “Never before has a video game reached this level of detail,” Ubisoft said about its previously announced Snowdrop Engine in a new video released today during the Spike VGX Awards. The Snowdrop Engine is capable of capturing light realistically via a volumetric lighting system, which will help establish a more believable atmosphere, Ubisoft said. The game engine also powers The Division’s procedural destruction elements. In the video, bullets were shown being fired into police car as little bits of the vehicle flew off. The Snowdrop Engine also powers The Division’s day/night cycle and various weather elements. Watch the Gameplay video here:...
