LG Electronics and Wireless Audio. Not the first thing that comes to everyone’s minds when they think of LG. To a layman, LG is a company that manufactures Phones, Air Conditioners, Refrigerators, and other home appliances.
But that changed at IFA Berlin this year. LG announced that they’d be releasing the Music Flow P5 and the SoundPop 360, both developed for the consumer who wanted portability and sound quality.
The Music Flow P5 supports LG’s auto Music play feature which begins playing music automatically when a source comes into range. Its battery lasts for 15 hours of continuous playback, and it looks pretty darn good. Its compelling design and versatility make it very appealing.
On the other hand, the SoundPop 360 (Quite a weird name, isn’t it?) is designed to be super portable. LG says the design was inspired by a coffee tumbler, helping it fit into daily life. Blending well with any furniture or appliance, the SoundPop 360 is a great fit for any interior design.
The battery lasts 20 hours of continuous playback. The sound quality packs a punch, and the small body ensures it fits into any backpack or handbag, for ultimate portability.
Both these devices feature Multi Point, which lets two devices connect simultaneously and share music. Dual play allows listeners to connect two LG bluetooth speakers to the same mobile device, for stereo mode or a Dual room setup.
LG are yet to announce the pricing, but we predict it’ll be in line with existing players in the market, like the Bose Soundlink Mini and the Beats Pill.
